Tasks, streaks and levels

Alongside the map there is a straightforward progression layer. All of it is in the app and all of it is local to your device.

XP and levels

A saved session earns XP based on what you actually did: 60 for each kilometre and 3 for each minute, added together. The result is floored at 25, so a short walk is still worth banking, and capped at 300, so a very long session cannot run away with it.

Levels are a flat curve. Every 500 XP is one level, with no acceleration and no rubber-banding. The profile screen shows how far through the current level you are.

Daily tasks

There are five short exercise tasks in the app: a cardio burst, a mobility flow, a core circuit, a breathing reset and a stair climb. Each runs on a timer between one and two minutes and carries its own XP value, between 60 and 180.

One of the five is featured each day, rotating at local midnight, and the rest stay available. They are bodyweight exercises rather than movement sessions, so they are something to do on a day you are not going out.

One award per thing per day

Every task, and the movement session itself, awards XP at most once per local day. Repeating something the same day still works and simply banks nothing further.

Movement sessions run through the same daily gate as the tasks, which is why only the first saved session of a day counts. It is one consistent rule rather than two separate systems.

Streaks

Your streak counts consecutive days on which you finished something. Complete anything today after having completed something yesterday and it goes up by one. Miss a day and it resets to one on your next active day.

Only the first completion of a day moves the streak, so there is nothing to farm.

Collections

Collections are badges grouped into six sets, covering first steps, holding territory, defending it, GPS signal quality, joining a club, and mapping. Each badge tracks a real count from your own play and shows how far along it is.

They are a record of what you have done rather than something to spend. Nothing in the app is gated behind a badge.

Weekly recap

The recap looks back over a rolling seven days and summarises your sessions, the ground you took and refreshed, and how your signal quality trended. It is built from what the app already stores, and it contains no coordinates, no route paths and no place names.
